Music for stories

Kyle J Hartman is a Film & TV Composer and Orchestrator in Los Angeles. You may be familiar with some of his work as a Music Engraver for Freaks (Netflix), Turner Risk (Amazon Prime), & Nine Perfect Strangers (Hulu), as an orchestrator for S.W.A.T. (CBS), The Swearing Jar (2022), & Cobra Kai (Netflix), score production on The Real Right Stuff (Disney+), and as an additional music composer for Adorableness (MTV) & Home Team (Netflix). Or perhaps you came across one of his arrangements for the Southern Gentlemen a cappella group or the Colordao Symphony. You might have also heard Kyle share his story so far on the WeXL podcast.

In any case, Kyle is known for being a consummate storyteller who uses original music to craft compelling narratives and enhance visual media. Kyle is a highly-skilled film composer currently writing "music for stories" in original scores for Meet Me In New York, Wishmaker, Snowed In For Christmas, and Daisy 23 Days.

Kyle recently released an album of original orchestral music titled CELESTIAL. It is the culmination of a year-long journey into creating something unique involving live musicians recording remotely from all across the country. Kyle studied film scoring and orchestration under the direction of two-time Emmy-award winning composer, Dr. Hummie Mann, and he credits the experiences he had recording live musicians during the grad school program at the Seattle Film Institute as being an integral part of this new album. After working for several professional media composers in Los Angeles, Kyle decided it was finally time to release a collection of his own original material.

Kyle is also composing original orchestral tracks for Extreme Music in collaboration with composers at Bleeding Fingers Music.
